Ingestre Orangery – A Sustainable Restoration Project

The National Lottery Heritage Fund have contributed £1,018,500 towards the total project costs of £1,546,986. ‘Permission to start’ was granted at the end of May 2018 and the grant expiry date is 30th June 2021. Additional funding has been secured from the Historic Houses Foundation, Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, Garfield Weston, the Pilgrim Trust and LEADER. The Architectural Heritage Fund have also supported the project at various stages.

The project has already delivered a programme of capital repair works, constructed a rear extension building and provided a new access route, parking and landscaping. We are now working to deliver a programme of activities and to provide interpretation in a range of formats and media about the heritage of the Orangery and the wider Ingestre Estate.

The Ingestre Orangery: Heritage Pod Development - This project is part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development
