Hello everyone,

It has been a busy old time here at the Orangery recently but it’s safe to say we have been a lot more relaxed than usual…. let me tell you why.

The 12/13th of September saw us hosting a much-needed Wellbeing Weekend. The Orangery welcomed visitors and a wide range of instructors and practitioners, to our wonderful tranquil location to recharge their batteries and improve their mindfulness. 2020 has challenged all of us in different and unprecedented ways. We wanted to reach out to existing visitors and new faces to create a partnership event featuring classes and workshops in yoga, pilates, meditation, mindfulness, and photography. Our local instructors stepped up to the mark and it was brilliant to meet everyone in person after months of zoom classes!

Thankfully the weather held out for us allowing many of the classes to take place outside on the lawn which definitely added to the atmosphere of the weekend. Our aim was to offer a ‘pick and mix’ retreat and encourage people who have not visited before to really experience what is special about the Orangery. People were able to spread out in the sunshine with teas, coffees and even cake and quiche made by our local supplier Little Ingestre Bakery. Overall the weekend was a great opportunity for visitors and practitioners to meet each other, set up new networks and ultimately enable us to offer more of what you have asked for at the Orangery.

We would like to say a massive thank you to all of the instructors – Kay Dawson @ZestYogaK, Christine Novelli Harding @novelliphoto, Michelle Williams @helloyogavana, Hannah Randall @TheWellNestUK, Emma Matthews @lovingallthingsyogic, James and Alison Petitjean pilates. If you took part in any of the sessions we would love to hear from you. Feel free to leave a review on Facebook or Trip Advisor!

We have more mindful events planned and in the meantime use our Mindful Walk audio guidance created by Hannah at The Well Nest during your next visit to the Orangery. CLICK HERE

We are now open every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday throughout September and October (subject to bookings – check our website). Each Wednesday we will be providing a range of free children’s activities. Each Saturday we will be open for strolls around the gardens, grounds and picnics.
